本题由两个部分组成，中间用and连接，在这样的题目中，我们要格外小心，要弄清楚and前后两个句子之间的关系。通常and连接的两个部分都有因果关系，我们需要对原因和结果，或者原因和结果之间的关系给予回应（同意还是不同意）。

在本题中，我们可以感觉到原因部分过于绝对，因为我们知道很多名人的确是取得很高成就的，从而给年轻人树立了很好的榜样；但也有很多名人就是因为外表或财富而有名的，没有取得什么成就，这些人肯定会给年轻人带去坏的影响。因此，就本题而言，我们就可以考虑把题目中的原因部分分为两种情况讨论。参考结构如下：

第一段：引入话题

第二段：有些名人仅仅依靠外表和财富，而没有任何成就，会给年轻人带来负面影响。

第三段：但也有些名人非常有成就，他们的努力会给年轻人树立正面榜样。

第四段：给出自己观点，即年轻人需要的是那种通过努力而出名的名人，而不是那种依靠外表和财富的名人。

另一种思路：

完全同意依靠长相和财富的名人会给年轻人树立负面的榜样。从三个方面论证这个负面影响。

1. 物质层面：让年轻人在物质生活中模仿这些名人，只注重外表和财富。

2. 精神层面：让年轻人不再相信努力，不再相信社会贡献，只追求享受。

3. 社会层面：让年轻人不顾一切去追求外表和财富，可能引发严重社会问题（如犯罪）。

本范文采用第一种思路。

Celebrities are those who are famous and people get famous for different reasons. Some are known for their contributions to the progress of the world, while others are known for their glamorous appearance or wealth.

I totally agree that those celebrities dependent on appearance and money set a bad example to young people.  Unfortunately, there seems to be more and more such famous people nowadays on TV screen and in the Internet world. They try their most to show off their expensive clothes, cars, and houses, thus making themselves known to young TV viewers and netizens, who then will try to imitate them by following their lifestyle. If this went on, no one would believe in the value of hard work or self-sacrifice any more, and the world would become highly materialistic.

But we do have a galaxy of people who become famous for their achievements and it is these people who are positive role models for young people and make the world go around. Steve Jobs is exactly such a famous man.  He is wealthy, yet that fact is dwarfed by the great things he has done to humanities. Inspired by his greatness, numerous young people devote themselves to the development of computer science which makes living in our world easier and easier. The progress of human civilisation is possible only when people strongly believe that what really matters is what we can do for the world, rather than what we enjoy.

To conclude, we need to distinguish two types of celebrities: the positive ones and the negative ones. While the negative celebrities give young people the false idea of selfishly enjoying life, the positive ones will show them the importance of making contributions to the world.
