attach importance to、give priority to、value、place a high value on、place great emphasis on、put sth high on the agenda
①️Both her parents attach great importance to education.她的父母都很重视教育。【可以在importance前面加上great/little等词表示程度高低】
️②Priority will be given to children of families with low incomes.将优先考虑低收入家庭子女。【priority前面有时会加上top，即give top priority to优先考虑】place/put可以表示以某种态度看待某事。后面可以搭配importance/emphasis/value，表示重视。️③Customers place more importance on quality than simply on cost.顾客更重视质量而不只是价格。④️Our society places a high value on moral values.我们的社会非常重视道德价值观。️⑤We need to put efficiency high on the agenda.我们要重点关注效率。
️①These problems arise when people try to avoid responsibility.当人们试图逃避责任时，就会出现这些问题。【arise的主语一般是问题/困难等不好的事物。】️②️Many countries have seen a rise in the popularity of digital payments in the past few years.过去几年，很多国家的电子支付都变得更加流行。【地点/时间+see可以表示客观事实的发生。】
如果是时间+see的话，就是：
The past few years have seen a rise in the popularity of digital payments in many countries.③️The promotion he had been promised failed to materialise.公司向他保证的升职并没有实现。【materialise 一般用于否定句中，表示(计划/期望)没有发生。】
prone to、liable to、have a tendency to do️①Children are all prone to eat junk food.所有儿童都有可能吃垃圾食品。️②️People are liable to make mistakes when they are tired.人们在劳累的时候有可能犯错。️③The drug is effective but has a tendency to cause headaches.这种药有效，但是可能造成头疼。【have a tendency to do相当于tend to do。优势在于，可以在tendency前面加上程度词，如have a strong tendecny to do。】
impose、introduce、bring/put sth into effect️①The government imposed a ban on the sale of some commodities.政府禁止某些商品的销售。【impose表示的实施带有强制性。搭配：impose+规定+on sb/sth】️②️Schools have been forced to introduce harsher disciplinary measures.学校被迫实施更严格的纪律措施。【introduce的宾语既可以是规定/法律，也可以是产品/计划等。】
③️The new regulations will be put into effect next year.新的规定将于明年实施。【bring/put sth into effect更加强调“落实”，其中sth可以是计划/想法/规定。】
conform to/with、comply with、in compliance with、adhere to、observecomform to/with和comply with的主语既可以是人，也可以是物。①️Students can be expelled for refusing to conform to school rules.学生如果拒绝遵守校规，就会被开除。️②️The devices comply with industry standards.这些设备满足行业标准。③️All building work must be carried out in compliance with safety regulations.所有的建筑工程必须按照安全规定执行。【in compliance with在句中一般作状语】④️She adheres to a strict vegetarian diet.她坚持严格的素食饮食习惯。【adhere to的宾语可以是规定，也可以是原则/信仰/方式】
️⑤The proper procedures must be strictly observed.必须严格遵守合理的流程。【observe的主语是人】
